In an already fierce divisional rivalry, this week the Dolphins and Jets are adding some hot sauce to fuel the fire.

It looks like the Dolphins and the Jets are kicking up the heat for this Sunday's clash at MetLife Stadium. To no one's surprise the war of words started when Rex Ryan said his team needed to put ‘hot sauce' on running back Reggie Bush prior to New York's Week Three contest in South Florida. During the game Bush was forced to the sideline with a knee injury and Jets' All-Pro cornerback Darrelle Revis sustained an ACL tear effectively ending his season.

"What goes around comes around," said Bush when asked by reporters his reaction to Revis' devastating injury.

This week Ryan urged the former Heisman Trophy winner to issue an apology for attributing ‘karma' as the cause of New York's injury woes.

"I don't expect one, but maybe Darrelle Revis does," mentioned Ryan of a possible apology from Bush. "I'm sure he got caught up in the moment. He was injured and obviously nobody likes to get hurt. That certainly wasn't my intention and I hope he understands that. He doesn't ever have to say anything to me or reach out to Revis, but I would expect him to, just for the simple fact that Revis is his peer. He's one of the elite players in this league."

Ryan clarified his initial ‘hot sauce' remarks insisting that none of his players were out to intentionally harm Bush, but the Dolphins' tailback isn't buying that explanation.

I don't believe that," said Bush. "I don't believe that at all, but it is what it is."

When asked whether he expected a reprisal from the Jets for his ‘karma' comments, Bush replied:

"Not at all. Retaliation? They're the ones that started it. If there ever was any retaliation, it would come from us. But you know what? With this team, the caliber of guys and the character of guys that we have on this team are guys that play with respect for the game. Guys that go out there and they play hard. It's football. I didn't go and complain and whine about being a target of the Jets. I expect that every game. I don't expect for it to be anything different this game."
