The announcement was made by Jets General Manager Mike Tannenbaum. Urrutia (WR/6-6/232/Louisville/Fern Creek, KY) entered the NFL as a seventh-round selection (246th overall) by the Cincinnati Bengals in the 2008 NFL Draft. He was waived Aug. 30 and signed to the practice squad on Aug. 31 where he spent the entire season.
