| Jets will interview Rex Ryan on Sunday

Jets owner Woody Johnson and GM Mike Tannenbaum will travel to Baltimore on Sunday to interview Ravens defensive coordinator Rex Ryan for their head coaching position. This was confirmed by a Jets source. Ryan is the likely front-runner for the Jets opening, but he has to interview well. Interviews have sometimes been a problem for the blunt Ryan, who is very similar to his father James David "Buddy" Ryan, the former head coach of the Philadelphia Eagles and Arizona Cardinals.
