Eric Mangini has no issue with the comments Laveranues Coles made to the Bay Area media on last Wednesday's conference call. "I read that whole transcript and I think those were very selected comments," said Mangini. "I’ve talked to Laveranues and I’ve talked to Brett. I think their goal is exactly the same – L.C. (Coles) wants to do everything he can help us do to win, and so does Brett. It’s not a function of any personal goals or anything like that. L.C. is not like that."
