| Brad Kassell out for the year

Jets reserve inside linebacker Brad Kassell blew out his knee in Cleveland, and is out for the year. The Jets are now very thin at inside linebacker with Davis Harris currently sidelined with a hamstring injury. OLB David Bowens is playing a lot inside now, so that will help fill the void left by Kassell's injury. Second-year player Marques Murrell is also in the mix at inside linebacker. Kassell's best friend Cody Spencer also has experience playing inside. The Jets will probably bring back Jerry Mackey, who must be on the brink of being involved in the most transactions in team history.
