The agent for Vlad Ducasse confirmed with GreenAndWhiteReport.com that second round pick Vlad Ducasse has made a long-term commitment to the Jets.
The former UMass lineman has signed a four year deal worth $3.25 million dollars, as confirmed by his agent. The deal includes guaranteed money that, according to agent Joe Linta, “is over a million dollars.” Linta also confirmed that there are no options with the deal and that the signing bonus “is not something he wanted to disclose.”
Ducasse becomes the highest draft pick signed by the Jets this year, joining fourth round pick Joe McKnight and fifth round pick John Conner.
“Vlad is very happy with the deal and very happy to be a member of the Jets,” Linta told GreenAndWhiteReport.com.
