Late in the Jets win over Oakland, Mark Sanchez fumbled an attempted forward pitch to Thomas Jones. He was about to flip it, but then a defender blitzed into the area, and he tried to pull the ball back and fumbled. Most fans and reporters assume that this is a dangerous play, but Brian Schottenheimer told the press on Thursday that offensive coordinators actually consider this a safe play.
