"Braylon Edwards was charged with misdemeanor assault today in connection with an incident outside a downtown nightclub several weeks ago," wrote the Plain-Dealer. "He was accused of punching entertainment promoter Edward Givens about 2:30 a.m. outside the View Ultralounge. Edwards faces a sentence of up to six months in jail and a $1,000 fine. His arraignment hearing is scheduled for Nov. 17th."
