Leon Washington has insurance

Posted Oct 26, 2009

Leon Washington, who broke his leg against Oakland, has injury insurance. The announcement was made by Dave Hutchinson - "He took out a Lloyds of London insurance policy at the start of the season to protect against injury." (What does that mean? He's still getting paid, even if it's the league minimum, and the Jets will take call of all his medical costs. It must be in case he can't play.)
