With the injuries to Lito Sheppard and Donald Strickland, the Jet came close to signing Corey Ivy this week, but decided to stay put -
"We thought about [signing a cornerback]," said Rex Ryan. "We definitely thought about it, but we like our plan going forward with our guys. We do have four safeties, so we can move guys around if we need to."
CB Marquice Cole could come in handy this week.
