Fladell fails physical and is waived

The New York Jets have waived G Mike Fladell after he failed his physical. The announcement was made by Jets General Manager Mike Tannenbaum.

Fladell (G/6-7/334/Rutgers/Howard Beach, NY) was originally signed by the Jets on June 29. He initially entered the NFL when he was signed to the Giants practice squad on Dec. 3, 2008 as an undrafted rookie free agent. He was waived by the Giants on June 24.
