Jets sign a linebacker
LB Brock Christopher

The New York Jets have signed free agent LB Brock Christopher. The announcement was made by Jets General Manager Mike Tannenbaum.

Christopher (6-2, 235/Missouri/Kearney, MO) started 36 games during his four years at Missouri and registered 319 tackles. Last season, he had the second-most tackles on the Missouri defense with 105. In addition, Christopher tallied one sack and 7.5 tackles for loss in 2008. Christopher originally signed with the Atlanta Falcons as an undrafted rookie free agent on Apr. 27, 2009 and was released Jun. 3.
