Ainge's first comments on why he left

Here is Eric Ainge explaining why he took a leave of absence from the team in April.

"I was a way dealing with a private matter. That is all that I can say. It is personal. Like I said, it is a private matter with me. I’ve dealt with it. I am back. I’m working out, competing. It is great to be back. I can’t do anything about the time that I was away. I can just do stuff about the future.

"[The Jets] have been extremely supportive. They understand. They don’t know either. It is a personal thing to me and they respect that."
