Jets coach Rex Ryan admitted on Friday that it's going to be very hard for Eric Ainge to be the team's starting QB this year.

Ryan says Ainge is now the team's third string quarterback.

Right now it's unfair to say that Mark Sanchez is better than Ainge at this point, but considering the Jets picked Sanchez fifth in the draft, it will almost be impossible for Ainge to leapfrog the USC product.

Ryan continues to praise Kellen Clemens and says Sanchez won't be handed the starting job.
