Tryout tight end active in mini-camp

The Jets have one pure tight end (Dustin Keller) on the regular roster, and he was held out of the first day of mini-camp. So a tight end, in town for a tryout, was prolific in the first practice.

Chris Conklin, a 2008 graduate of Wingate, is at the voluntary camp. He is a 6-3, 252-pounder who was in Carolina Panther's camp last summer. He runs very well for a man his size and caught a pass way down field in the first practice.
