Jets looking elsewhere for answers again

Once in a while you need to believe in your own people.

But the Jets seem to have a little issue with this, and their pursuit of Dallas Cowboys receiver Miles Austin is another example of this.

According to Todd Archer of the Dallas Morning News, the Jets are pursuing Austin, who is a restricted free agent.

If the Jets sign Austin, and Dallas doesn't match, then Gang Green would have to send a second round pick to the Cowboys.

Too often the Jets feel their answers aren't in their own building. Perhaps this is a sign of inconsistent drafting.

Why not give Marcus Henry a chance to be the big receiver, or let Chansi Stuckey start opposite Jerricho Cotchery? Or pick a receiver in the first round.

It's good to have faith in your own on occasion.
