Two schools have emerged as TC candidates

The Jets are in the process of researching Upstate New York universities where they can hold their 2009 training camp. We have learned of two strong candidates.

Two schools that are being seriously considered are Cornell in Ithaca and Colgate in Hamilton according to an NFL source familiar with the team's thinking

Both play 1-AA football, so they have stadiums with stands, practice fields and plenty of parking.

Ithaca is about 220 miles from New York City.

Hamilton is about 165 miles from NYC.
