All this talk about the Jets interest in Kansas State QB Josh Freeman in the first round is foolish.

To pick him at 17 would be a major reach. And if they did pick him, he would be of little help to them for at least two years. He is a raw kid, with tremendous natural gifts, who came out of school early, who needed another year. He's a major project. So much is made of the Jets working him out.
