Coles will earn $9.7 million in 2009

Laveranues Coles who left the Jets to get a better contract, will earn $9.75 million in 2009. The announcement was made by Dave Hutchinson, who is good friends with Coles.

Coles signed a four-year deal worth $27.5 million. According to Hutchinson, Coles received a $3 million signing bonus, a $4.7 million roster bonus, a $1.9 million base salary and a $100,000 workout bonus for 2009.
