The Jets need to trade for Jay Cutler. The announcement was made by Gary Myers.

"They don't have a quarterback," wrote Myers.

"But unless this Jets defense is going to play like the '85 Bears, coached by Rex's dad Buddy, or even the 2000 Ravens, when Ryan was an assistant coach, then it's hard to win in the NFL playing around the quarterback.

"Here's one suggestion for Ryan and GM Mike Tannnenbaum: Keep a close watch on what's going on in Denver with Jay Cutler. He is upset with new coach Josh McDaniels, the Bill Belichick 32-year-old protégé, and this could lead to a nasty divorce.

"Cutler is a 25-year-old Pro Bowl quarterback. It's worth a phone call."
