Lupica: QB hurt shoulder because he was a Jet

Posted Feb 12, 2009

Why did Brett Favre hurt his shoulder in 2008? Not overuse or getting hit, but because of the team he was on according to Mike Lupica of the Daily News.

"Who knows how the story gets written if Favre doesn't have a torn biceps tendon? But he did have a torn biceps tendon. Of course. He was a Jet now," wrote Lupica in the Thursday Daily News.

We didn't know that players could get hurt just by wearing a certain uniform. This creates quite a challenge for Dr. Elliott Pellman and the other Jets doctors.
