DeFillipo fires "good friend" Jags

After firing him as BC coach, and making him look really bad over the last week, this is what BC AD Gene DeFilippo had to say about his former coach Jeff Jagodzinski on Wednesday.

“He was a really good friend when he came here and we’re still really good friends," said DeFilippo.

With friends like that . . .

Jagodzinski was fired for allowing himself to be interviewed for the Jets job.

DeFillipo found that to be disloyal. Kind of like how DeFilippo treated the Big East a few years ago when he took his athletic program to the ACC.
