Glauber pushes Same Old Jets button
Ghostbuster Bill Murray
Ghostbuster Bill Murray

According to Newsday's Bob Glauber, it's the "Same Old Jets," and the team has issues with ghosts (maybe they need to call in Bill Murray).

"Jets fans have become so inured to the anguish that they say "Same Old Jets" to explain away their suffering," wrote Glauber in Tuesday's Newsday. "Different players, coaches, quarterbacks, it always ends the same. Badly. One way or another, the punch lines remain remarkably similar.

"And now Eric Mangini and Brett Favre take their turns. The coach must steer the team away from the negative vibes. The future Hall of Fame quarterback faces the Herculean task of fighting the ghosts of collapses past."
