Jets coach Eric Mangini said on Thursday that he was "optimistic" that David Harris would be able to play this Sunday in San Francisco.

Harris has been out the last five games with a groin injury that required surgery. According to an NFL source, he has been getting some quality reps with the starting unit this week in practice.
