Harris and Smith might play this week

On Friday, Jets coach Eric Mangini said that injured LB David Harris (groin) and S Eric Smith (concussions) both might return this week.

"Both of them have participated substantially in practice," said Mangini. "We'll have to see with David where he's going to be. Eric, I will look at him and see where he's is as well.

"They are two totally different injuries. I have been happy with what they've done and where they are. We'll see them today and talk to John Mellody and the doctors and the players and make a decision."
