Harris and Smith return to practice

Posted Nov 26, 2008

Jets starting linebacker David Harris and safety Eric Smith returned to practice on a limited basis on Wednesday.

Harris is three weeks removed from groin surgery, and Smith is recovering from a pair of head injuries suffered in a short period of time. Neither has practiced in close to a month.

While each practiced a little on Wednesday, don't expect either to play this week.

Speaking of groin injuries, it's unclear whether the game's best cornerback, Denver's Champ Bailey, will play against the Jets on Sunday. He's been out the last month with a groin pull, and was listed as questionable last week.
