It's assumed by most that cornerback Ty Law will play for the Jets on Thursday night in New England. That is quite a challenge, considering he hasn't played football for almost a year. But Law thinks he can do it.

"I am anticipating going out there and playing the game and I am preparing to play," said Law on Tuesday. "We will see what happens. The only thing you can do is go out there and wing it."

Wing it? That doesn't sound like a great formula for success.

"That is what I am going to do," said Law. "I can’t say that I am going to come in here one day and pick up the whole system. I am going to be playing spot-duty right now and going to try and help this team win.

We will see on Thursday night how Law deals with this enormous challenge.
