Pats lose top defender to broken arm

Posted Nov 10, 2008

New England Patriots outside linebacker Adalius Thomas broke his arm against the Buffalo Bills on Sunday and won't play against the Jets on Thursday night. The announcement was made by Michael Smith.

This is a huge blow to the Pats. Thomas is their best pass rusher, and the team's other outside linebacker, Mike Vrabel, is having a down season.

Brett Favre certainly isn't going to miss facing off with Thomas, a fellow Southern Mississippi product.
