Bubba Franks inactive

Tight end Bubba Franks (groin) is inactive for the Jets-Chiefs game. Mangini had held out hope he could play.

At the cornerback spot, David Barrett is inactive, and Justin Miller is active for the the first time this year.

David Clowney is inactive. It was thought that maybe he would return this week since the Jets are lacking a deep threat.

Also linebacker Vernon Gholston is active, and Marques Murrell is inactive.
