Jets undecided on roster move

The Jets need to activate RB Jesse Chatman today off the NFL suspended list, but they need to make room for him.

And they might be able to put off cutting somebody for a week because of Eric Smith's impending suspension.

Smith has been suspended by the league for his head-to-head hit on Arizona's Anquan Boldin last week.

But the Jets haven't made any decision yet because Smith actually appealed his fine ($50,000) and suspension.
