The Jets have released punter Ben Graham, the former Australian Rules Football star.

Graham is coming off a roughing out against New England, and was somewhat inconsistent last season.

The Jets also released wide receiver Paul Raymond from the practice squad.

So with one roster spot available on both the regular roster and practice squad, the Jets can add a punter to both. This would create competition and give them more flexibility.

A solid candidate for the regular roster would be former Seattle punter Ryan Plackemeier, who has an outstanding leg.
