Perhaps Chatman wasn't cut

The Jets have not cut running back Jesse Chatman. The announcement was made by his agent Brett Tessler.

"The Jets did not release Jesse Chatman, nor will they,” Tessler told Pro Football Talk. “And they are not trying to trade him like another paper reported.”

The Newark Star-Ledger reported that Chatman had been cut.
