In a surprising move, the Jets released running back Musa Smith, who looked pretty good in camp.

Also let go with RB Rodney Kinlaw, OT Thaddeus Coleman and Rutgers safety Ron Girault.

Kinlaw, Coleman and Girault could emerge as practice squad candidates.
