"With the way transactions are processed where we have a little bit more work to do with the league before four o’clock tomorrow," said Jets GM Mike Tannenbaum about Pennington. It would be interesting if Pennington signs with New England for a year as a backup, and tells them everything he knows about the Jets operation. You have to figure he's not real happy with Tannenbaum right now, and what better way to get back at him. Miami is a possibility as well.
However, the team that makes the most sense is Minnesota.
