Nothing happening tonight

The Green Bay Press Gazette might be ahead of themselves.

"The New York Jets are in serious talks with the Green Bay Packers and Brett Favre's agent about acquiring the legendary quarterback, a source said today," wrote Pete Dougherty in the Press Gazette.

But this might not be accurate, according to a source close to the Jets.

"That is not the case," said the source.

The source, also told a Jets beat reporter, "You can sleep well tonight."

Meaning that people on the Jets beat don't have to worry about missing a story that is on the brink of breaking.
