Woodhead waived injured - could land on IR

The NFL dream of running Danny Woodhead hit a major detour.

Woodhead, a record-setting runner out of Chadron State, blew out a knee on Friday, and was waived injured on Saturday.

It is possible the Jets could bring him back and have him spend the year on IR.
