Olbenburg taken off NFI

Posted Jul 23, 2008

On Monday, the Jets put offensive tackle Clint Oldenburg on the Active/Non-Football Injury list. But on Wednesday, he was taken off that list.

It's likely that the reason he was placed on that list was that he failed some part of the team's conditioning test, given to all the players prior to training camp.

So he likely passed the test a day or two later, and was taken off the list.

Oldenburg is a candidate to make the roster as a backup swing tackle.
