Giants to sell PSL's - Jets likely to follow

Posted Jun 26, 2008

The Giants announced on Thursday afternoon that they will sell PSL's at the new Jets-Giants Stadium.

"All the net proceeds from the sale of PSLs will be used to fund construction of the new stadium," said Giants President John Mara. "You can sell them or will them - the season-ticket holder gets to decide. This isn't the case now.

"We have spent months exploring our various options regarding the financing of the construction of the new stadium. Given construction costs and NFL and lender requirements for paying down our debt, and after much thought and analysis, we decided this PSL program is necessary."

Expect the Jets to do the same.
