Update on Scott Cohen story

Posted May 30, 2008

According to a Jets source, the team is the process of adding former Philadelphia Eagles executive Scott Cohen to the front office. This story was first reported by Pro Football Talk. A few other moves are in the offing as well.

Aside from Cohen shortly taking over as the team's assistant GM, the club also is about to give contract extensions to executives Terry Bradway and JoJo Wooden, according to the source. Bradway heads up the team's college scouting department and Wooden, the pro personnel department.

However, with Cohen coming on board to work in the office under GM Mike Tannenbaum, this will free up Bradway to do what he truly loves, spending most of his time on the road scouting college players. Cohen will fill many of Bradway's roles in the office. Wooden will continue heading up the pro personnel department.
