A couple of weeks ago, at an OTA practice, tight end Bubba Franks put on a show in the red zone. Some people thought the amount of throws to Franks, with the media watching, was a way to tweak holdout tight end Chris Baker.

"I heard whispers that some people think it might have been staged, but I can tell you, as a defensive coach, you never want to see multiple touchdowns caught on the first group," said Jets coach Eric Mangini.
