Catching up with RB Danny Woodhead

Q)How do you feel when people say you are too small to make it on the next level?

Woodhead: It's something that people have said in the past. I've never gotten caught up in it. It's never bothered me. I'm fine with how I am. I'm just going to work hard.

Q)Does it motivate you to go out there and prove the doubters wrong?

Woodhead: Not necessarily. I don't know if they're doubters. I'm going to go out and work hard every single day.

Q)Does your skillset translate to the NFL level?

Woodhead: I haven't really been too worried about how I stack up against the other guys because if you think about all the other guys, then you're not going to do well. Plus, we're teammates. I'm going to help them out if I can and hopefully they'll help me out.

Q)You ran for one yards in one season than any player in college football history. What does that mean to you?

Woodhead: It's an honor just to be mentioned with some of the names that have quite a bit of yardage. I guess individual statistics aren't really that big a deal to me. It is an honor to be mentioned in the same breath as all those other running backs.
