After spending the first five years of his career with the Jets, Victor Hobson is now a New England Patriots. He signed with the Pats on Monday. The announcement was made by Adam Schefter.

According to Schefter, Hobson received a one-year deal with New England.

He will be a good fit for the Patriots 3-4 defense after all the experience he received in the system with the Jets.

"Victor is a good young player with considerable playing experience,” said Patriots Head Coach Bill Belichick. “We are excited about his addition to our linebacker unit."
