The Jets have signed former Green Bay Packers tight end Daniel "Bubba" Franks. The announcement was made by Rich Cimini.

Franks, 30, will serve as the Jets #2 tight end with his primary role being run blocking.

Franks was the Packers #1 pick in the 2000 draft out of Miami (FL).
