The Jets will honor recently retired running back Curtis Martin on Sunday. Jets owner Woody Johnson will be part of the ceremony. One day, in the near future, Martin thinks he will be attending owner's meetings with Johnson.

Since he retired, Martin has aggressively pursued the purchase of an NFL team. And he think's it's just a matter of time before it happens.

"I expect to be in ownership in the next year," said Martin.
