Did Kendall botch snaps on purpose?

Fans and reporters continue to ask the question - did Pete Kendall mess up two shotgun snaps on purpose against Minnesota in an attempt to get released? Kendall is livid with the Jets over his current contract. Here is Kendall's response:

"No," Kendall said emphatically. "Why would I put Kellen in that situation? Why would I put the rest of my teammates in that situation? It's unbelievable to me that people would ask. I would not do that to my teammates on purpose."
