USA Football, the sport’s national governing body on youth, high school, and international amateur levels, today announced that New York Jets Head Coach ERIC MANGINI has joined the organization as a coaching program advisor and spokesperson.

Mangini, 36, has been a part of three Super Bowl championships, three AFC titles, and five division crowns in a young and impressive 13-year NFL coaching career.

Mangini bolsters USA Football’s progressive coaching program, helping coaches to teach the youth and amateur game and to create a positive experience for players, parents, and fellow coaches. The Hartford, Conn., native offers guidance to USA Football members through online coaching courses at USAFootball.com. Also found on the website is a USA Football video testimonial from the Jets’ head coach.

“We are more than pleased to have Coach Mangini’s endorsement and support,” says USA Football Executive Director SCOTT HALLENBECK. “His credentials, combined with the fact that he’s a dedicated parent of young children, make him a great fit for our team. His involvement will benefit our coaching program members, and ultimately, the thousands of youngsters that they coach.”

“I’m proud to be part of USA Football,” says Mangini. “They provide great resources for leagues, coaches, game officials, parents, and players. I invite everyone in the football community to join me and ensure a strong future for our game.”
