Pats' Gay visiting Jets

New England restricted free agent cornerback Randall Gay is visiting the Jets. The announcement was made by Mike Reiss of the Boston Globe.

According to Reiss, Gay will be in New York on Monday and Tuesday.

Gay was a key figure in the Patriots' Super Bowl season a couple of years ago, but has been banged up the last two campaigns.

If the Jets signed Gay, they would have to compensate the Patriots with a second round draft pick. The Jets have two second round selections in the 2007 draft.
