Jets acquire tackle Morley in trade
Steve Morley

Posted Sep 4, 2005

The Green Bay Packers traded T/G Steve Morley to the New York Jets for a future undisclosed draft choice.

Steve Morley, in his second year out of St. Mary's of Canada, is 6-7, 330 pounds. While he does have a lot of potential, he doesn't have much experience. With backup swing tackle Marko Cakva hurt, the Jets might be better off with a veteran backup, not a green player like Morley.
