Jets' spirits riding high headed to Carolina

Overcoming his mid-season slump, Geno Smith is coming off of a stellar performance on Sunday against Oakland. His success on the run and creating plays with his legs has given the Jets' coaching staff a bit of faith. He hopes that the team can set the tone early, in order to come out of Carolina with the win.

Geno Smith looked sharp in Sunday's win, by putting up a pair of touchdowns in Week 14. Connecting with Jeremy Kerley through the air and one rushing score, he snapped his six game scoreless streak. Smith credits the return of teammates Kellen Winslow, Santonio Holmes, and Jeremy Kerley to his success as the offensive weapons have not been on the field together since the beginning of the season...
