Revis pays $50K to keep his lucky number

With the Tampa Bay Buccaneers landing the NFL's top cornerback in a trade with the Jets this offseason, Darrelle Revis is going to extreme lengths to keep his lucky jersey number in his new home.

Darrelle Revis has been all about the money since getting drafted by the New York Jets in 2007.

So even though the All-World cornerback finally got the massive contract he's been pleading for via a trade to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Revis isn't done wheeling and dealing.

According to Uni-Watch.com, Revis dished out $50,000 to acquire his No. 24 from second-year Bucs defensive back Mark Barron.

Not a bad deal for Barron.

Then again, not a bad deal for Revis, who is now making $16 million a year. Barron's entire four-year rookie contract is worth $14.5 million.
